The Adirondack Mountain Club (ADK) is a nonprofit membership organization that protects wild lands and waters through a balanced approach of conservation and advocacy, environmental education, and responsible recreation.
The Binghamton Chapter is located in southern New York, just minutes from the Pennsylvania border, midway across the state. We have a variety of outings planned this year, and we are working to expand our activities as the club and our membership grow.
We hope you will contact us to find out how you can become a member of our group, plan and lead a trip or outing, participate in community education and volunteer opportunities, or just come and enjoy the wonders of the Adirondacks with us.

Welcome to the Binghamton Chapter of the Adirondack Mountain Club. Centrally located in Southern New York, we are close to many lakes, streams, and forests, with numerous opportunities to canoe, kayak, hike, bike, snow shoe and cross country ski. Our membership abounds with people of many skills and varied interests -- all with the common goal of enjoying, protecting, and preserving the forever wild places. Come join us. Check out one of our programs, events, or outings. Come to a meeting. Share with us your love of the Adirondacks, and all of the wonderful places of nature this area, and nearby areas, have to offer.
